Maya Hall: Palenque

Some real treasures from Palenque are on exhibit at the Museo. This page includes a photo of several incense burners (including the one featured on the cover of the July-August 2005 issue of American Scientist) and three photos presenting the original tablet from the Temple of the Cross. (See a photo of the Temple of the Cross in Palenque from the MAA Mathematical Tour of Mayan Mexico.)

The next pages of photos from the Palenque treasures in the Maya Hall are of objects associated with the burial of Pakal in the Temple of the Inscriptions.
